I think that They all felt like blaming everything on the Jews and other countries so they wanted to "riot" or rebel against them. This song kind've holds true to Helmuth also. He wanted to speak out and rebel against the Nazis. I could also see this song describing himself because the Nazis ruined his whole life so he probably had the thoughts from this song running through his mind at all times. I personally chose this song because in the book its constant rebellion or striking out against someone else. The Nazis and Helmuth were huge characters in this book who couldn't stand for sitting still and wanted to do something about there issues.
