Hold Me Closer, Necromancer
This quarter for read for a lifetime I chose to read, "Hold me Closer, Necromancer" by Lish McBride. This book has been a very enjoyable read to me. Normally I hate reading books but this book I can honestly say I enjoyed reading it. The books pretty much about your normal college dropout kid who works at fastfood then he finds out hes a Necromancer. Here let me have the author describe the book to you. Sam leads a pretty normal life. He may not have the most exciting job in the world, but he’s doing all right—until a fast food prank brings him to the attention of Douglas, a creepy guy with an intense violent streak.Turns out Douglas is a necromancer who raises the dead for cash and sees potential in Sam. Then Sam discovers he’s a necromancer too, but with strangely latent powers. And his worst nightmare wants to join forces . . . or else. With only a week to figure things out, Sam needs all the help he can get. Luckily he lives in Seattle, which has nearly as many paranormal types as it does coffee places. But even with newfound friends, will Sam be able to save his skin? This book is continually bringing thrill and enjoyment to the reader with every sentence. Whenever you put the book down it leaves your mind craving more. I think that anyone who reads this book will enjoy it and I think everyone whould check this book out.

I have never read a book about a necromancer, but, I kind of want to read this. I am guessing that this book is like the "City of Bones." If you get the chance read that book.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an interesting book but I'm wondering what sets it apart from other books of it's genere?
